Lynrd Synrd was awesome.
We enjoyed Lynrd Synrd's awesome performance, particularly their display of pride in our country and flag, as well as in those who defend this great nation. The light show and backdrop were also highlights for us.
One downside was the lack of teleprompter display for the first two bands at Veterans Amphitheatre in Virginia Beach. When the 3rd band finally appeared on the screen, it was barely visible. Despite having paid a decent amount for our seats, they were still too far away. Having teleprompters would have significantly enhanced the show.
It is disappointing that there was no effective way to prevent the sun from washing out the images on the screens. Additionally, the issue of inconsiderate individuals standing up during the performance was a problem. If people have assigned seats, they should remain seated to ensure everyone's enjoyment. There was almost a confrontation when one audience member asked another to sit down.
Various rules are enforced at the venue, and we believe that ensuring seated attendees remain seated should be one of them. I myself would have stood up, but I recognized that it would have obstructed the view for others, including those who may not be physically able to stand.
